Since 2005 the Nuestra Señora De los Remedios Cooperative carries out Integrated Production. Integrated production is defined as ‘an agricultural system for high quality food production, using the maximum amount possible of natural resources and regulatory mechanisms, and which ensures long-term viable agriculture.’ This includes biological and chemical methods, in addition to other carefully chosen and balanced techniques, which take into account the environment, profitability and social responsibility.
