ABOUT US
Founded in 1947, the S.C.A. Nuestra Señora de los Remedios de Iznalloz (Granada) currently has 845 partners and 8,100 hectares of mountain olive groves from which high quality juices are obtained and placed on the market.
The quality and efficiency of their team, their modern and fully-equipped facilities and their marked environmental awareness are some of the hallmarks of the Acatucitana cooperative. They are confident that they will continue to grow, as they have done in the last decade, through the recruitment of new members and by developing new ways of marketing their products.
Our Cooperative’s olive grove, formed by approximately 8,100 hectares of land, is a typical mountain olive grove, nestled in the municipality of Iznalloz and its adjacent towns.
The predominant variety is Picual or Marteño, although there are also autochthonous varieties such as Negrillo de Iznalloz, Loaime, Escarabajillo or Lucio, to name a few.
Most of them are dry olive groves, although around 20% of them are equipped with localised drip irrigation.
